TechCrunch is technology-news site owned by AOL. They use many advertising and behavioral trackers, along with other trackers that AOL acquired over the years.

We did not test to see if TechCrunch's paid "Extra Crunch" subscription removes any ads or tracking.

TechCrunch's Privacy Rating is D. We found 13 different third-party trackers in the TechCrunch app, and there were 87 attempted tracking connections detected during our test.
